Bears turned active, as a result, and pushed the Index down 376 pts intra-day. Thanks to late pull-up on that heavyweight ITC, Index was able to save itself closing below previous day?s low, yet ended down by 216 pts or 1%. All sectors ended flat to -ve, but Metal/Bank Indexes both weakened by about 2% each. The A/D ratio also turned -ve, though marginally. The action formed a sizable Bear candle, which, thanks to late pull-up in ITC, saved itself closing below previous day's Doji. For the bias to confirm as -ve, therefore, we need to watch follow-up below yesterday?s action.
