admin: Positive to gap up opening is expected ...if sustains at or above 20 30 points for more than 20 minutes then it will remain in positive territory till mid session and if failed to sustain up then profit booking may be seen which may bring it back to 6150 or below that in intra day trades . Possibility of some negative news inflow from Japan is there if it happens then our market will react on it accordingly. |

omsairam: (Analysis) Nifty has formed a DOJI candlestick pattern which suggests indecisiveness among market participants . However, Nifty closed at its highest level after November 10,2010 which is a big positive the markets can carry with them today. For the day, Nifty holding onto 6160 on the down side and moving above 6240 could bring in more buying interest as the next possible target on the upside can be the all time high at 6357 where it is likely to find some resistance. On the other hand, if the index slides below 6160 then the next support is at 6130 followed by 6090 and thereabout. The index has been making higher tops and higher bottoms since the past few sessions which suggests that till the trend line support of 6100 is not breached on the down side there is no reason to panic. omsairam: (Analysis) Put Call Ratio based on Open Interest of Nifty slightly moved up from 1.26 to 1.27 levels. Historical Volatility of Nifty moved down from 27.37 to 26.56 levels but Implied Volatility moved up from 19.42 to 19.79 levels. Nifty future witnessed a dull move with trading in a narrow range of around 50 points. However Nifty future recovered well from the lower levels in the last hour of trades to close above 6200 mark. Nifty future for the day, till the time is holding above 6170 levels rally may be continued towards 6250-6280 levels, whereas if it fails to hold 6150 levels then only profit booking dip may be seen towards 6100 levels. Looking at the option concentration data, max Put OI is at 5700 followed by 6000 strike price whereas max Call OI is shifted at 6300 followed by 6400 strike prices. Bank Nifty for the day if it holds above 10750 levels then rally is likely to continue on higher side towards 11000 psychological mark whereas immediate support is at 10550 levels. |

omsairam: (Analysis) CNX Nifty formed yet another DOJI with a narrow range suggesting indecision in the mind of traders and investors. The index however made a higher high and a higher low, but closed a tad lower on Tuesday. Today the index has to cross and close above 6230 in order to keep the rally alive. Failing to do so the index can possibly retest 6140-6080 levels in the days to come. Nifty has been making cycles of higher highs and higher lows from 5718 levels which has the trend line support at 6150. The 52 week high of 6229 is also posing as a minor resistance for the index ,and if this level is crossed on a closing basis the markets could rally further. (Analysis) |

[×] [o] omsairam: (Analysis) CNX Nifty formed a hanging man candlestick pattern after witnessing a SELL off more than 100 points from the day’s high of 6217.95. The implication of this pattern could be negative if the recent high of 6220.10 is not crossed. Nifty has been facing some stiff resistance from its 52 week high level of 6229 as well. Yesterday, Profit booking was on expected lines as the market rallied significantly in previous three weeks on inflow of foreign money. For the day, Nifty has to hold 6160-6140 on the down side on a closing basis if the index has any intentions to go past 6229. Failing to hold onto 6160 and slipping below 6140 could see some selloff towards 6080-6060 too. The index has closed above all major moving averages therefore if Nifty crosses 6230 and sustains above it then a SHORT covering rally cannot be ruled out from current levels. (Analysis)

[×] [o] omsairam: (More Analysis) Put Call Ratio based on Open Interest of Nifty remained unchanged at 1.27 levels. Historical Volatility of Nifty moved down from 25.75 to 25.09 levels and Implied Volatility moved down from 19.47 to 18.92 levels. Nifty future, which was trading at higher levels on a cautious note since the starting of the week ,finally found a hurdle around 6230-6240 zone and a profit booking dip was seen towards 6125 levels. However a strong recovery was seen in the latter half of trading session and finally closed below 6200 psychological level. Nifty future for the day, holding above 6200 levels could towards 6240-6270 levels, on the other hand if it fails to hold 6170 levels ,then selling pressure may be seen towards 6130-6100 levels too. Looking at the option concentration data, maximum Put OI is at 5700 followed by 6100 & 6000 strike price whereas maximum Call OI is at 6300 followed by 6200 strike prices. Bank Nifty for the day, it has immediate hurdle around 11000 psychological
